This ring features a 1.31-carat round natural blue sapphire (treated with heat to enhance the depth of blue) and approximately 1 carat of natural VS colorless princess cut diamond set meticulously in 18 kt white gold with an invisible setting, which is what makes this ring stand out and unique.
It's rare because it gives a stunning “floating” appearance, it’s expensive as a setting because it is risky, takes time to produce it and requires a very highly skilled jewelry setter, which makes this piece a Haute Couture Piece.
